Six Flags over Texas--the Arlington, Texas, theme park--is well connected to the Dallas-Forth Worth metropolitan airport by a range of hotels with fully equipped suites near the park. While most offer shuttle service to Six Flags and its neighbor park, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, your family can also walk to the park from some hotels. The only question for your family will be who gets the sofa bed.
The Baymont Inn & Suites, located in the Arlington Entertainment District right next door to Six Flags, offers a shuttle service to and from the airport and also to and from the park, although you could walk if you like. Five restaurants are within a mile and two more are within a two-mile radius.
The Econo Lodge offers quick access to both the airport and Six Flags via its five-mile radius shuttle services. Located in North Arlington, it is closer to Six Flags' Hurricane Harbor than the Six Flags over Texas theme park, but a 5- to 10-minute shuttle ride will deliver you efficiently. A free continental breakfast is available on site, too.
The Crowne Plaza is a hotel made up entirely of suites and accommodates both business and leisure travelers. Ask about the Sleep Advantage Amenities, like eye masks and lavender misting sprays. Although breakfast is not included in the price, there are two restaurants on site. Six Flags is a five-minute drive away by car or on the complimentary local shuttle service.
Do your own cooking in a fully equipped kitchen at the Hawthorn Suites or have some family time in the separate living room by the fireplace. Besides a hot breakfast buffet, the hotel features a complimentary dinner buffet and social hour Monday through Thursday. A trolley can take you to Six Flags.
With a prime location right next to the Six Flags entrance, you won't need a shuttle to get to the park. The hotel features 41 suites and includes a daily complimentary breakfast. A shuttle is available to and from the airport.
Choose a suite with one king bed or two double beds. Each includes a separate living area and a sofa bed. A breakfast buffet, as well as a tea and coffee bar, are available in the lobby. Springhill is located just outside Hurricane Harbor, but if you want to get to Six Flags over Texas, you can take the shuttle.
