• The Dallas Metro KOA, a “big rig-friendly” campground, features 100-foot pull-through RV slips and 50-amp hook-ups. This nicely wooded RV park also offers guests the choice of staying on tent sites or in one-room cabins. All guests receive wireless Internet and TV service free of charge, but use the telephone service for a charge. Amenities include laundry facilities, a meeting room and kitchen for guest use in this key card-secure gated campground. Traders Village RV Park

• Traders Village offers more than just a large RV park with lots of amenities a mere 5 miles due south of Six Flags Over Texas on Highway 360 in Grand Prairie. The first of three Traders Village locations, this Grand Prairie location opened in 1973 and has become the most-visited and largest weekend flea market and event/festival venue in Texas. The village covers more than 120 acres where 3,500 dealers offer their wares and services every weekend year-round. Events held here include concerts and music festivals, Mountain Man competitions, cook-offs and the annual holiday market. While the flea market and festivals are primarily weekend events, Traders Village RV Park opens 365 days a year, offering 212 RV sites, 202 of which offer full-service hook-ups. All offer 50-amp electrical service. The park accepts every length of recreational vehicle, including big rigs and those with slide-outs with a variety of pull-through and back-in slots from which to choose. On-site amenities at Traders Village RV Park include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, dump stations, mail, ATM machine, picnic tables with barbecue pits, wireless Internet, recreation, playground and swimming pool.
