The Midessa Oilpatch RV Park is located in the heart of Odessa. The campground has areas to swim and play basketball ball, as well as a playground, barbecue grills and picnic tables. Other campground amenities include a gift shop and convenient store, laundry and a RV dump station. Tent and RV sites are available and there are cabins for rent. Nearby are five golf courses, 14 city parks with plenty of trails, a family aquatic center with waterslides and ball fields.

Monahans Sandhills State park is comprised of 3840 acres in the sand dunes of Monahans. It is about 30 minutes from downtown Odessa in both Ward and Winkler counties. Activities in the park include camping, horseback riding, hiking, sand surfing and wildlife watching. There are full hook-up campsites with water and electricity and shelters. There are also water-only campsites for tents. The campground has a bathhouse, group dining hall and a park store that rents sand toboggans.

Trails End Campground is located in the heart of Midland, approximately 30 miles east of Odessa. The park features full hook-up RV sites, pull-through sites and water-only tent sites. Laundry services and showers with hot water are available. Trails End also features paved roads and gravel sites with wireless Internet available. Nearby activities include the Midland/Odessa Symphony, restaurants, nightclubs, 49 city parks, two public swimming pools, a dog park and a skate park. A 36-hole golf course, 86 ball fields and eight tennis courts also are nearby.
