Casino Shows in Reno, Nevada

After you're done rolling them bones and enjoying a quiet steak dinner, catch a show at one of the many theaters in Reno's casinos. While you won't find the massive productions that are common in Las Vegas, this more low-key northern Nevada gambling town has plenty of options for guests of all ages.

  1. Golden Entertainment at the Eldorado

    • The 580-seat Eldorado Showroom hosts an eclectic mix of shows and entertainment in downtown Reno, providing an intimate atmosphere where every seat provides a good view. Past productions have included "Dance Inferno," a dance show that turned the stage into a disco club where nearly two dozen singers and dancers performed 1970s hits from staples like ABBA and the Bee Gees. "Spectra" presented a circus with more edge, featuring laser effects and performances with fire as contortionists and acrobats filled the stage.

    A Musical Legacy

    • Notable music acts have played Silver Legacy's nearly 1,600-seat Grande Exposition Hall. Gavin DeGraw and The Beach Boys have brought their musical talents to this stage, and brother and sister act Julianne and Derek Hough have performed their song-and-dance show here. "America's Got Talent" winner and Vegas resident Terry Fator took his famed ventriloquist act to this Silver Legacy hall.

    Under the Big Top

    • Circus Circus is a casino resort that caters to families and offers plenty of shows for audiences of all ages. These have included the Imperial Acrobats of China, who jump and flip all over the casino's showroom, and JR Johns' highly trained dogs performing showstopping tricks. The Russian duo "Bounce" performed amazing acts of juggling and gymnastics as a team, spinning and catching each other as they tossed a number of objects.

    Broadway in Miniature at Harrah's

    • Harrah's Reno hosts mid-sized theater productions, as well as solo variety acts. "Broadway Showstoppers" performed some of the most well-known Broadway tunes, from such hits as "West Side Story" and "Grease," combined with more modern stage classics like "Rock of Ages" and "Jersey Boys." Magician Dirk Arthur occasionally brings his brand of "Wild Magic" to the showroom, featuring tigers and dancers assisting in high-production illusions.
