Things to Do in Primm Nevada

Located on Interstate 15 in Nevada, Primm is a small community typically visited by people traveling between Southern California and Las Vegas. The city offers three casinos, an outlet mall, a golf course and one of the tallest roller coasters in America. Between a Bonnie and Clyde museum and a ride that cuts through a casino, Primm has attractions to suit a variety of interests.

  1. Desperado Roller Coaster

    • The yellow steel structure of the Desperado Roller Coaster is visible for miles. In 1994, at the time of completion, the Desperado broke a multitude of records including the tallest, fastest, steepest and longest roller coaster in the world, with a first drop measured at 225 feet. The roller coaster is a part of Buffalo Bill's Resort and Casino, which also includes the Turbo Drop, a ride that drops passengers 170 feet at 45 miles per hour.

    Casinos

    • Primm offers gamblers three casinos. Buffalo Bill’s features a buffalo-shaped pool, mining town motif, and a 46,000-square-foot casino with a Log Flume Ride that cuts through the casino floor. Originally a two-pump gas station, Whiskey Pete’s features 777 rooms, three full-service bars, a pool with a water slide and a 700-seat showroom. Pimm Valley Resort and Casino is famous for the Bonnie and Clyde Collection, which includes the car the notorious couple died in. The resort offers a 46,100-square-foot casino with 1,500 slot machines.

    Shopping

    • The Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas offer bargain hunters well-known brands, such as Gap, Nine West and Nautica. For high-fashion bargain hunters, Coach, Versace and Michael Kors stores are available. The Gamezone arcade is available for kids, while parents can explore the more than 100 restaurants and shops. For tourists staying at the casinos, a monorail provides transportation to and from the Outlet Mall.

    Golf

    • The Primm Valley Golf Club features two courses designed by Tom Fazio, one of the world’s most acclaimed golf architects. The Lake Course is a par-71 course with several water hazards, while the par-72 Desert Course features sand traps and sits adjacent to the desert. Primm Valley Golf Club’s full-service restaurant serves breakfast and lunch with a lounge overlooking the courses, and the club can handle golfing groups of up to 288 players.
