Hotels in Mount Kisco, New York

Mount Kisco, New York, is in the heart of the state's Lower Hudson Valley, and tourists visit Mount Kisco for boutique shopping opportunities in the city's Main Street and Moger Avenue. Fishing and boating facilities on the Hudson River are within 15 minutes of Mount Kisco. Only one hotel is in Mount Kisco, but travelers can find luxurious and moderately priced accommodations in the nearby Hudson Valley cities of Tarrytown and Brewster.

    • The Holiday Inn, located in the northern end of Mount Kisco, has the appearance of an old English country estate, with a stone fireplace and chandelier in the lobby area. Other hotel features include a fitness room, ballroom for banquets and receptions, outdoor swimming pool and Teddy's, a lounge area. The king rooms have sleeper sofas and bathrobes. Pets may stay for an additional fee.

      Off-site dining options, including Johnny Rockets and 353 Restaurant, are within five minutes of the hotel at the Mount Kisco Square Shopping Center. The hotel is a five-minute drive from downtown Mount Kisco, which features restaurants and antique shops. Manhattan is approximately an hour away from the hotel, via the Harlem rail transit line that passes through Mount Kisco.

    Castle on the Hudson

    • Situated in Tarrytown, the Castle Hotel is on bluffs overlooking the Hudson River, approximately 20 minutes from Mount Kisco. This hotel was built in 1910 and it resembles a Welsh castle, which can be seen in its stone walls and outdoor turret towers. Hotel features include tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and in-room massages. Fine dining is provided at the hotel's Equus Restaurant, which hosts wine tastings and serves four-course meals. Some of the hotel's suites have four poster beds, marble-furnished bathrooms and wood-burning fireplaces.

      Tarrytown provides opportunities to see historic buildings within 20 minutes of the hotel. Some of these buildings include the Union Church of Pocantico Hills, which was built in 1921, and Kykuit, the former estate of the Rockefeller Family. Both locations are open to the public. Union Church features elaborate stained-glass windows, while Kykuit is home to 20th century art pieces from Pablo Picasso and Alexander Calder.

    Heidi's Inn

    • Heidi's Inn is in Brewster, New York, less than 25 minutes north of Mount Kisco. This hotel is in the midst of a forest, and guests can take advantage of walking paths on the Inn's property. The hotel has a breakfast area in the lobby, a conference room that accommodates up to 30 people, and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, only open during the summer. Suites with kitchens are available.

      The hotel is within five minutes of dining options on Highway 22, including Arch Restaurant, a fine dining establishment with gardens and outdoor seating. Fishing and sailing opportunities are less than 10 minutes from the hotel on East Branch Reservoir and Bog Brook Reservoir. New York fishing licenses are required for fishing in these lakes.
