Gold Coast Hotel in Las Vegas, NV

The Gold Coast Hotel is one mile west of the Las Vegas Strip, near the Rio Hotel and the I-15 highway. A "sister" hotel to the Orleans, it offers free shuttle service to the Strip.

    • Standard and premium rooms at the Gold Coast offer free cable TV, hair dryer, coffeemaker and iron and are air-conditioned. The Gold Coast also offers suites that are twice the size of standard rooms and include a living room and dining area. Room service is available 24 hours a day for all rooms.

    • The Gold Coast Casino features 88,000-square feet of gambling space, with 48 tables for blackjack, craps, roulette and other table games. It has recently opened a nonsmoking room. There are high-limit slot machines, a sports book and a large bingo room.

    • The Gold Coast has nine restaurants or food service areas. Their upper-end restaurants are the Cortez Room, featuring steaks and seafood, and the Chinese restaurant Ping Pang Pong. Their casual restaurants are Noodle Exchange and T.G.I. Friday, plus a sports bar called The Red Zone. The Ports O' Call buffet features seven live cooking stations. Snacks are available at Seattle's Best Coffee, Kate's Korner Deli and Ice Cream and the snack bar at the Gold Coast's bowling alley.

    Activities and Entertainment

    • The Gold Coast hotel also contains a fitness center, heated outdoor pool and a whirlpool to help guests stay in shape. For another type of game to play, there's a 70-lane bowling alley. A showroom and lounge feature live entertainment.
