Lakeside, located in Coos County, is a town on the central Pacific coast of Oregon. Originally inhabited by the Coos Indians, the area is known for Tenmile Lake, which consists of more than 43 miles of shoreline and covers approximately 2,000 acres. The Salmon Harbor Landing, located north of Lakeside in Winchester Bay, offers nine individually themed guestrooms that range from the Victorian Room to the Jungle Room. Completely renovated in 2006, each guestroom includes modern amenities such as pillow-top mattresses, down comforters, high-count threaded sheets, electric fireplaces and antique armoires. It also offers a 1,500-square-foot, three-bedroom house with a fully-equipped kitchen that sleeps up to eight people.
