Yosemite is a landmark park in east central California that has a number of lodging options for people who travel with pets. Yosemite is one of the most visited attractions in California and has hotels inside and outside of the park. Park rules allow pets on leashes six feet or less. Pets can only walk on the paved surfaces inside the park and are not allowed on unpaved trails or roads.

The Yosemite View Lodge sits a few miles from the entrance to the park. This lodge has three outdoor pools and one located indoors for guests to use in the winter. The hotel also has five outdoor spas. The lodge has 335 rooms including suites. A convenience store is on the property, as well as a cocktail lounge and a restaurant. All the rooms have cooking facilities. The largest suites have complete kitchens and have either balconies or patios. The hotel is next to the Merced River and some of the rooms have views.

The Best Western at Yosemite has a heated outdoor pool, a spa and tennis courts. Access to the rooms is from an outdoor corridor. This hotel allows pets only in its double queen rooms. This hotel has 77 rooms and each has a 25-inch television with cable and a premium sports and movie channel. Each room comes with a coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. All rooms also have a dataport to access the Internet. Cribs and roll-away beds are available upon request.
