Chester is a town on Kent Island, approximately half way between Maryland's mainland and Eastern Shore. This area is a favorite destination for fishing, boating, crabbing and sunbathing along the Chesapeake Bay. Primarily a residential community, Chester does not have its own hotels. Several are available five miles to the east in the town of Grasonville.
