Hotels in Delta, Canada

Delta, British Columbia, is actually made up of three separate townships: North Delta, Tsawwassen, and Ladner. Much of Delta is agricultural land as well as territory belonging to Canada's First Nations people. Although it is best known by the locals as "the way to the ferry," visitors do spend time at the George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary. Shoppers also like to visit the boutiques operating out of vintage Victorians. Hotel accommodations tend to be clustered along the ferry route, off Highway 9, and in neighboring communities.

  1. Delta Town and Country Inn

    • This modest property's claim to fame is its tennis club. Memberships of the Town and County Tennis Club are offered, but hotel guests may book court times and use the pool and fitness room. The Delta Town and Country Inn offers views of British Columbia's mountains from some rooms. Others overlook the pool and tennis club area. Featuring many gabled three-story structures with Victorian-era light fixtures, this property is a mix of the old and the new.

The location, just off Highway 9, makes it an excellent choice for travelers heading for an early morning ferry out of Tsawwassan or for spending the day in downtown Vancouver, a thirty-minute drive. One innovative service is the Fax-A-Lunch program. The on-site restaurant offers catering for office luncheons and parties. Hotel guests in town for business can send a fax to the property, and lunch will be delivered to their offices.
