Boyne Mountain is situated in the northern part of Michigan two miles east of Boyne city. The mountain is renown for skiing during the winter with over 114 down hill runs and over 60 years experience as a ski resort. All forms of winters sports are represented on the mountain including ice skating, snow mobiles, cross country skiing and snow boarding. During the spring and summer golf, fishing and general outdoor recreational activities take over.
An Austrian inspired posh European style hotel, Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa is located on Boyne Mountain Resort in northern Michigan. The hotel has an arcade with over 100 games, a day care for baby sitting and a limited business center. Also the resort has golf courses near by and all the rooms are within walking distance of skiing during the winter. In addition the hotel has both an indoor, outdoor pool and a hot tub.
