Mesa Verde is located in the southwestern corner of Colorado, about 40 miles from Four Corners. At Mesa Verde there are 3,900 archaeological sites including 600 cliff dwellings within the park. There is one hotel within Mesa Verde, while the rest of the hotels are in nearby Cortez.
The Fair View Lodge is located within Mesa Verde Park near the visitor center. The southwestern lodge has 150 rooms. There are two types of rooms: standard rooms and Kiva rooms. Standard rooms include amenities like a balcony, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron with ironing board and coffee maker. However, there's no air conditioning or television in standard rooms. Kiva rooms come with additional amenities like air conditioning, handcrafted furniture and a pillow-top mattress. There's no television in Kiva rooms either.
