Alpine, AZ Motels

Located just six miles west of the New Mexico border in the White Mountains of Arizona, Alpine is a small unincorporated community that is a favorite with hunters, fisherman and other fans of the outdoors. There are no major hotel or motel chains in Alpine, but it does offer tourists a selection of locally owned motels and lodges.

  1. Hannagan Meadow Lodge

    • The Hannagan Meadow Lodge, which has been open since 1926, is located 9,100 feet above sea level in the heart of the White Mountains. Guests can choose from one of ten authentic log cabins, each with a wood-burning stove and a kitchenette, or one of seven lodge rooms with private bathrooms. Large groups can also rent the entire lodge. Due to the remote location, nearly 22 miles from town, maid service does not occur daily and there is no cell phone service, although guests can use the pay phone in the lobby. The dining room is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. every day, but only accepts cash.
