Mountain View Lodge is located along the Nepewassi Lake, which is 16 miles long; the lodge provides guests with several cottages, accommodating anywhere from 3 to 12 guests. The property comes complete with a general store, a coffee shop, a shower house and private beaches. Wildlife viewing is plentiful near the lodge; you may see loons, ducks, geese, beavers, otters and turtles.

The Rainbow Motel is located approximately six miles from Markstay; it offers 12 rooms for guests. The motel provides a selection of one-person and two-person rooms. All rooms are dog friendly.
