Southern California is home to well-known cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego and Santa Barbara. The Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunset Boulevard sits on 12 acres in the heart of Beverly Hills, and will treat you and your dog with service fit for the stars. Dogs under 35 pounds are welcome to stay in any one of the 21 bungalows. Pet perks include personalized bone-shaped cookies with your dog's name handwritten on it from the on-site Bakery Shop, bed, bowls and pink tennis balls. There is, however, a $200 non-refundable cleaning fee if you bring your pet. People service includes complimentary shoe shining, 24-hour room service and daily delivery of a newspaper of your choice.

All rooms on the first level of this inn are dog-friendly. To make cleaning up accidents easier, the rooms have tile floors. Dogs can get treats and a wash. A one-time $25 fee applies for one or two dogs, $50 for three dogs and $75 for four. There is no size or weight limit. Parking is free as is the Continental breakfast that's available daily. Deluxe and family rooms have private patios that open up to a fenced-in community dog park facing Dog Beach. The studios are quieter and offer more privacy but no there is no patio.

Parking is free at the pet-friendly Secret Garden, which was built in 1905. All cottages and rooms have private showers and baths and wireless Internet. Pets are welcome with advanced notice in the cottages with private deck. There is a $20 fee per night. Dogs are not allowed in the main house and should be on a leash at all times; they cannot not be left alone in the cottages. The Secret Garden provides a complimentary full breakfast for all guests.
