Dog Friendly Hotels on Whidbey Island

Twenty-five minutes north of Seattle is Whidbey Island, which is known for its outdoor adventures and wilderness.     WildeBerry on Whidbey

    • This retreat is located south of Greenbank in central Whidbey Island. The facilities are pet friendly but the owners request a fee and need to pre-approve any dogs that come to ensure they are house trained and well-behaved. Accommodations are in Climbing Blueberry Cottage and come with wireless Internet, a library, board games, chipping green, en-suite, microwave and mini-fridge. The cottage is on over seven acres and provides opportunities for guests to walk the trails, pond, wildlife and the local wildberries. Local activities include diving, fishing and golfing.

    Harbour Inn Motel

    • This is a dog-friendly hotel in Freeland, on the southern part of the island. Dogs are welcome at the Inn for a fee and need to be booked in advance in case rooms aren't available. Only two dogs per room are permitted. Rooms come with WiFi, TVs, en-suites, coffee stations, mini-fridges and microwaves. Kitchenettes are available in some units. Kids under 10 stay for free. The motel is centrally located and has restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Gerry's Kitchen, which serves burgers, sandwiches and seafood dishes, and Whidbey Cafe, which sells specialty coffee, are with blocks of the motel.
