Skyland Resort has a limited number of rooms designated for pets, so make reservations well in advance. The historic lodging site offers expansive views across the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guest rooms do not have in-room phones, but some have satellite television access. For entertainment, take a hike along the Appalachian Trail and other area trails. The Pollock Dining Room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, or order a boxed lunch to take along as you trek through the great outdoors.
