Since 1967, the JAVA - the Jamaica Association of Villas and Apartments has rented villas and apartments in Jamaica. It represents the villa owners, and members have to adhere to the association guidelines before they are accepted.
There are rental villas all around the island, at different price levels, sizes from one to seven bedrooms, and with different levels of service. Most villas come fully staffed with cook, maid, and valet, but there are also cottages and condos which may be more suitable for the traveler on a budget.
