Lido is a sandbar island located just off the shore of Venice in northern Italy. It stretches 11 km long and features a wide variety of hotels available to the guests that visit year-round. Every year, travelers flock for the views around the island, its well-known beaches, and for festivals like the annual Venice Film Festival.
The Russo Palace Hotel is restored in a very old historical villa built at the beginning of the 1900s. Recently, it was restored by the Russo family and operates as a hotel. Its 22 guest rooms offer a cozy, bed-and-breakfast type atmosphere. Most of the rooms have views of Venice Lagoon thanks to the hotel's location right on the shore of the Saint Marks Basin. Every morning, guests are treated to a fresh-cooked breakfast, laid out on the hotel's veranda. In addition to being close to many of the attractions on Lido Island, guests also can enjoy themselves at the Wellness Center & Spa. It offers massages, facial treatments, beauty treatments and body treatments.

The Hotel Villa Laguna is housed in a restored mansion that dates back to the early 1900s. It is located right next to the water bus that shuttles people between Lido Island and mainland Venice and faces the city's vibrant St. Mark's square across the water. Nineteen two-room suites can be found here, furnished in traditional Venetian style. Most of these suites offer views of the Venetian Lagoon. Downstairs, guests can dine at the Villa Laguna Restaurant, which offers outdoor seating on the veranda alongside the waterfront and the hotel's private garden. A lounge bar also is available inside. The quaint, cozy feeling of the hotel and its beautiful restaurant is an ideal place for weddings, and the hotel allows guests to rent the entire space out, or simply reserve tables, in order to throw their celebration here.
