The three hotels in New York City owned by the Trump organization are impressive by any standards. One is a boutique hotel in a trendy section, controversial for the way it takes up space. Two more are planted smack on two separate corners of Central Park. All are "condohotels," meaning that condominiums can be purchased at the properties. The hotels' elements are a mix of Trump's over-the-top style, such as lavish gold fixtures, and understated elegance or eclectic hip.
Located in the high-end Soho district, the Trump Soho has 391 rooms on 46 floors. The two-story lobby and floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest rooms make for grand surroundings. The Bar d' Eau, located on the hotel's seventh floor, is an open-air cocktail lounge with a 6,000-square-foot pool deck and a pool lined with blue Italian marble mosaic. Guests can enjoy a private cabana or play bocce.
