Wanderlust World Wanderlust World The El Capitan in Ocean City, Md., is a condo that may be rented. Each condo is located directly in front of the beach and the Ocean City Boardwalk. Condo renters can have a beach-front vacation so close to restaurants and entertainment that vehicles will not be needed for the duration of their trip.
The El Capitan has 30 condos available for vacation renters. Each condo has a queen-size bed in the master bedroom and a fold-out couch in the living room. All condos feature fully equipped kitchens with breakfast bars and private balconies overlooking the beach and the boardwalk.
The El Capitan offers guests a heated swimming pool with lounge chairs. Boardwalk Joe's is the only restaurant on-site. It is a coffee and sandwich shop that is open until 9 p.m. each day for the convenience of the El Capitan guests. In-room amenities include a washer and dryer, cable television and wireless Internet.
Many restaurants are located within walking distance of the El Capitan. Directly across the street is Shenanigans, a boardwalk restaurant. For breakfast, there is a Dunkin Donuts less than a block from each condo. The Ocean View American Grill, Bull on the Beach and Harrison's Harbor Watch Restaurant and Raw Bar are all located along the boardwalk within walking distance of the El Capitan.
Activities located on the boardwalk near the El Capitan include Ocean City Pier Games, a family water park. The park features a lazy river, a wave pool and numerous waterslides. Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum is also located on the boardwalk.
El Capitan is located directly on the beach. Many activities are available along the beach in front of the condo. Guests can rent a boat and fish or boat along the beach. Jet skis and snorkeling equipment are available for rent as well. Water accessories can be purchased at shops located along the boardwalk, so guests with children can build sand castles, collect seashells or boogie board.
