As of early 2011, Nub's Nob does not offer any ski packages, which includes lodging. Full day and half-day lift tickets are offered at varying prices for adults, teens, children, and seniors. Kids eight and under are free. Nub's Nob also offers unlimited season tickets for adults, teens, children and seniors. Limited season passes are also available, subject to blackout dates. Bargain season tickets are available, which allows skiing one full day a week except Saturday, or any 24-hour period during the week, except Saturday. A cross-country season ticket is also available. Even college students get a break on season tickets, for those up to 22-years old, who are enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours with a current college ID.
Birchwood Inn offers several winter packages. Its discount ski package offers lower room rates starting at $59 per night, plus taxes. This package includes a 20 percent discount certificate for dining in Harbor Springs at The New York Restaurant, or Turkey's Café. Also included is a discount coupon for downhill or cross country skiing at Nub's Nob. These discounts are available for the entire ski season, with the exception of holiday periods.
Besides being near to Nub's Nob, the Best Western of Harbor Springs has many other activities close by, including tobogganing, ice-skating, snowmobiling and winter horseback riding. The Best Western does offer Nub's Nob ski packages, which vary throughout the season. A variety of room configurations are offered, with all rooms being tastefully decorated. Two-room suites are available featuring fireplaces. Other amenities of the hotel include a fitness room, indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, and high-speed Internet access. A daily complimentary continental breakfast is offered every morning.
In addition to the local hotels, there are two local condominium complexes that offer ski packages. One is Trout Creek and the other is Hamlet Village. Trout Creek offers different packages throughout the season, and should be contacted for current ski packages and specials. Many unit configurations and designs are available, with room layouts up to five bedrooms and three baths. Trout Creek offers special deals with Sunday check-in and up-to-Thursday check out.
Hamlet Village is managed by Land Masters, and offers several packages. "Ski In, Ski Out" gives access to Nub's Nob on an exclusive basis. Included are discounted daily lift tickets for adults and teens. Hamlet Village also offers special ski packages in conjunction with Nub's Nob, and these vary throughout the season, so it is best to contact the property directly for current packages. The condominium units available for rent are spacious and well decorated. Typical units range from one to four bedrooms and one bath to three baths.
