Michigan Sledding Vacations

Michigan is a sledding wonderland during the winter. Usually, the entire state is covered in a thick blanket of snow and ice, allowing children of all ages to make use of nearly all trails and hills. Plus, if visitors do not have their own tubes, most major areas, including ski areas, will have sleds and tubes available for rent.

  1. Gladstone Sports Park

    • This park is located in the Escanaba-Gladstone area, and it offers visitors a number of attractions, including sledding, skateboarding, miniature golf and go-karts. This ski hill is open to snowboards, tubers, snowboarders and sledders. A snowmobile trail is located nearby, and a chalet on site is available for people to warm up or get something to eat. Nearby attractions include the Family Fun Park, Willow Creek Cinema, Escanaba's Bowl-a-Rama and ice rinks for ice skating.
