Situated in the heart of Pigeon Forge, yet just ten minutes from the main parkway, Little Valley Mountain Resort offers a wide range of custom-built log cabins to rent. The resort itself offers guests the use of a heated swimming pool, an 18-hole miniature golf course, three stocked fishing ponds, hiking trails and picnic areas. While all of these amenities are communal, Little valley prides itself on offering privacy and seclusion.
Several four-bedroom log cabins are available to guests, all of which are nestled in quiet woodland areas offering views of the valley. These larger cabins are able to accommodate between eight and 12 guests, while several are accessible to disabled guests and pets. While all of the cabins offer comfortable, traditional accommodation, luxuries and amenities may vary. For example, some cabins boast high-speed Internet connections, hot tubs, Jacuzzis, flat-screen TVs and even pool tables, though others are more "back-to-basics."
As well as the on-site attractions, the Little Valley Mountain Resort is well placed for exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, Townsend and the Dollywood resort.
The resort is home to more than a dozen four-bedroom chalets capable of sleeping between 10 and 14 guests. Around half of these are equipped with free wireless Internet access, while other luxuries may include pool tables, hot tubs, Jacuzzis and the latest home entertainment systems. Additionally, all guests staying at Eagles Ridge Resort are able to make use of a communal club house, outdoor swimming pool and chapel. Guests can also arrange to have masseuses come and visit them in their cabins.
The resort is well situated for enjoying the fishing and hiking opportunities offered both in and around the vast Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Furthermore, guests staying here will also be able to play a round of golf on one of the nearby courses, enjoy wildlife-watching, and explore the numerous historic mills and churches dotted around this part of Tennessee.
The family-run Aunt Bag's offers a range of four-bedroom log cabins in the heart of Pigeon Forge. All of the cabins come equipped with gas fireplaces, satellite or cable TV, hot tubs and fully-equipped kitchens, and all of them are pet-friendly. Guests also have the option of booking into cabins that have their own swimming pools and games rooms, though these cost more. In addition to the hiking and fishing opportunities in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Aunt Bag's resort is also well-placed for a range of local attractions that include the Adventure Raceway go-kart track, the Country Tonite theatre and concert hall, the Elvis Museum and, of course, Dollywood.
