About 20 miles from the resort center of Lake George, these log cabins feel a lifetime away from civilization. These log cabins are in downtown Old Forge and are a rustic alternative to hotels and motels, but with all the same amenities: cable TV, private bath and porch. This resort has 132 log camping cabins, which means guests must bring their own bedding and supplies, but there are communal camping kitchens and bath/shower facilities scattered about.
