Cedar Lodge Waterfront Resort offers 15 fully furnished log cabins for rent. The cabins were originally built in 1940 but were recently renovated and have many modern conveniences. The cabins come equipped with toasters; refrigerators; stove-top ovens; coffee makers; pots, pans, and other cooking and eating utensils; dish soap; paper towels; linens; and more. The cabins also have either cable or satellite TV. The lodgings, which come in various sizes, all have heating and air conditioning. In short, these accommodations are ideal for any size family and for any time of the year.
The cabins come with a private yard, a charcoal barbecue and picnic tables. Guests will want to bring or purchase charcoal and a lighter, as these are not provided. The landscaping is a natural granite area, which allows the children to have many climbing adventures. The cabins' location on Lake Buchanan offers guests an opportunity to fish from the pier, take a swim or play on the sandy beach. The resort does not provide beach towels, floating devices, life jackets or lawn chairs, so if you desire any of these items, you may want to bring or purchase them before arrival. Guests can take advantage of the boat ramp, as boat and jet-ski rentals are available.
Optional activities in the area include visiting the dam, viewing the waterfalls and touring the wineries. You may wish to go golfing or take a bald eagle tour. An aerial lake flight and a river tour are also worthwhile. In addition, enjoy the numerous festivals, the live music, the antique shopping centers and the museums.

BlissWood Bed and Breakfast is located on Lehmann's Ranch, a 650-acre, fully functioning ranch with a multitude of farm animals such as horses, cattle, roosters and dogs, as well as exotic animals such as peacocks, llamas, camels, miniature donkeys, bison, antelope, deer and a kangaroo. The B&B features 10 turn-of-the-century houses. Among these is a dwelling built in the style of an 1800s cedar log cabin. There are many antiques, such as the steep staircase leading to the bedrooms and the claw-foot tub in the bathroom. The kitchen table, fridge and sink are also antiques. However, the log cabin also has modern conveniences, such as a coffee maker, a microwave oven, heating and air conditioning. The cabin sleeps four, but you can request an extra cot to accommodate an additional person. This cabin is not in a secluded area, as it was placed near the barn on the ranch.
A second cabin, lying in a secluded location near Enchanted Lake, provides a more romantic feel with its queen bed, Jacuzzi tub and knotted-wood walls. It comes with a twin sleeper couch, allowing the cabin to accommodate up to three individuals. There is heating and air conditioning, as well as a front deck.
BlissWood Bed and Breakfast offers a wide variety of activities for guests to enjoy, such as horseback riding (with or without lessons), nature walks and picnics in the gazebo on the waterfront. Built of white cedar logs, the Jacobs Creek cabins have a rustic feel. However, they offer all the modern conveniences of home. Inside you'll find full-size refrigerators, stoves, ovens, coffeepots, microwaves, pots, pans, dishes and silverware. Bed linens are also provided. For an additional fee, you'll get maid and towel service.
You have a choice of accommodations: a two-bedroom, two-bath unit with two queen beds in each room, for a maximum of eight guests; or a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit for two people. TVs with basic cable and VCRs are provided. However, the best view just may be the private, covered deck, as it allows guests the opportunity to enjoy the peaceful view of the lake. The cabins do not have a kitchen, but they still have the same great view. All cabins have heating, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, making Log Cabins at Jacob's Creek a great choice year-round.
The picnic tables, charcoal barbecues, baby swings in the trees and enforced quiet time contribute to a family-friendly vacation. Be sure to bring your own charcoal and lighter, as these are not provided. Volleyball and basketball equipment are offered. The property can accommodate up to 64 people.
