Lodging in Sea Isle City, New Jersey

Sea Isle City is located on the southern shores of New Jersey about 30 miles southwest of Atlantic City and about 75 miles southeast of Philadelphia. The town's population is fewer than 3,000 people, but seasonal tourism to local beaches increases that number during the warmer months. Visitors can find a number of inns and motels right in town.
  1. Colonnade Inn

    • The Colonnade Inn is a Victorian-style building that has been around since 1883. The hotel caters to the visitors that pour in from nearby Philadelphia every summer. It is located a block from the beach and boardwalk, and the building itself has a wrap-around porch for sitting and enjoying the beach weather. The hotel's lobby has a big-screen television and the common area offers a coffee and juice breakfast bar every morning. Rooms range from singles to three-room suites, and all feature Internet, cable television, air conditioning and heating. During the summer, the hotel is near events such as free summer concerts, a farmer's market and outdoor movie nights.

    Coast Motel

    • About six blocks up the street from the Colonnade Inn is the Coast Motel, which is also situated about a block from the beach. The motel has 33 rooms with air conditioning, balconies, parking and cable television. The motel is located on LaCosta Properties, which features a packaged goods store with beer, party kegs, wines, liquors and New Jersey Lottery tickets. The LaCosta Deck Bar has live bands, frozen drinks and a dinner and late-night snack menu, and also hosts private parties. The LaCosta Lounge and Night Club offers late-night entertainment, with drink specials and rock bands that play throughout New Jersey.

    Sea Isle Inn

    • Located on Landis Avenue, the Sea Isle Inn has 53 rooms and sits near the beach and shopping locations. It has a pool and a deck area, and is adjacent to KIX McNutley's nightclub. The motel is near a shopping center with banking services, a CVS Pharmacy, shopping and local restaurants.

    DiGenni's Centennial Guest House

    • DiGenni's Centennial Guest House, built in 1895, originally served as a vacation house for wealth Philadelphia businessmen, according to its website. John and Madge DiGenni have owned the house since 1980 and have opened it up to vacationers, describing it as a bed and breakfast "without the breakfast." The house has six rooms with cable television, free WiFi, air conditioning and ceiling fans, but the rooms do not have a private bathroom -- there is one central bathroom in the house and two outside showers in the backyard. The rooms can hold up to four guests each, and no unregistered guests are allowed after 10 p.m. The house is located less than two blocks from the beach, near two food markets, a pizzeria, a fitness center and Shenanigans Bar.
