Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff, Alberta

Buffalo Mountain Lodge is located in Banff, Alberta. The town is situated in the heart of Banff National Park which boasts natural hot springs, clean mountain air and some of Canada's most breathtaking scenery. The lodge is a three-minute drive from downtown Banff.
  1. History

    • Buffalo Mountain Lodge was originally known as Mountainview Village Resort. It was purchased by Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts in 1983. The company renovated the facility and constructed new common and dining areas. In 1988 it was renamed Buffalo Mountain Lodge.

    • Soak in the outdoor hot tub, work out in the fitness room, enjoy some fine dining or relax

      in front of the huge fieldstone fireplace.

    • Downhill Skiing

      Buffalo Mountain Lodge is close to many activities in town and in the park including biking, fishing and rafting. The lodge provides shuttle service to area ski resorts.
