Pick a location at Keystone Resort. Keystone Resort comprises three mountains and six neighborhoods. Lodging accommodations are available in East Keystone, West Keystone, Mountain House, River Run, Lakeside Village and North Keystone. All neighborhoods are adjacent to one another and provide easy access to the mountain.
Determine which attractions and activities appeal to you. Choose the River Run area if you prefer walking distance to the River Run Gondola. This area has plenty of condominiums that are convenient to the slopes. A variety of shopping and entertainment venues are also available. The neighborhoods of East Keystone and Mountain House are on both sides of River Run. The condos in Mountain House are slope-side, allowing guests to ski in and ski out. The Chateaux d'Mont is one of the upscale lodgings in Mountain House. On the west is Lakeside Village, which offers lodging close to many shops and restaurants near a small lake. An ice rink is a main attraction in this area.
Select lodging accommodations that meet your budget and preferences. Choose from bed and breakfasts, hotels and condominiums. According to Skisnowboard.com resort guide, the closer the accommodations are to the lifts, the more amenities and luxuries they will have, which can increase the cost.
Compare the amenities and facilities. Amenities will vary but may include shuttle service, laundry facilities, ski storage and complimentary breakfast.
Make a reservation. Go to the Keystone Resort website (see Resources) or call 800-328-1323. Book ahead of time to secure the dates you want. Inquire about any specials and promotions that may be available such as lift and lodging packages for the winter season or golf vacation and family adventure packages for the summer.
