    • Vail is home to the recently rebuilt Tivoli Lodge located in the heart of Vail Village. The European-style architecture is the perfect companion to the natural environment. Golden Peak ski area is within walking distance. This family-owned lodge is renowned for its mountain views and friendly service. The lobby features a plush living room complete with comfortable over-sized chairs and a large stone fireplace. Guests can enjoy luxury rooms with a mountain view, king or queen beds and a stone fireplace. A complimentary breakfast is available each morning. The off season room rates for 2010 are priced at approximately $129 for a small room with a queen bed up to $179 for a Village Tower king-sized room. During ski season rates are higher with the small queen room priced at $249 and the Village Tower suite at $349.

    Capella Telluride

    • The San Juan Mountains provide the backdrop for this luxury resort with its casual elegance and style. Located in Mountain Village in the heart of Telluride, this resort is only minutes away from the slopes. The European architecture is combined with authentic Colorado stone and timbers. Capella is open all year and offers skiing and snowmobiling in the winter and rock climbing and fly fishing in the summer. Telluride holds many festivals throughout the year including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Telluride Film Festival. Current room rates for 2010 range from $195 for a standard king up to $445 for a balcony king or $630 for a 2 bedroom balcony room.     Stanley Hotel

    • You can find an out-of-the-way luxury hotel located in Estes Park, at the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. The historic Stanley Hotel is a summer destination for many tourists. The luxury accommodations include 138 guest rooms with the standard amenities including a 42-inch flat screen TV. One of the hotel's most famous visitors was author Steven King who was inspired to write the chilling novel, "The Shining" while staying there. The most frequent visitors to the well-kept grounds are elk that roam the entire property. Visitors can see Long's Peak, the highest peak in Rocky Mountain National Park, from their rooms and enjoy hiking, rock climbing and kayaking in the area. The Cascades Restaurant provides continental dining on the premises. Because of the history of ghost sightings in and around the hotel, ghost tours are available for visitors for $15 per person. Room rates for 2010 vary depending on the type of accommodations and season, but range from approximately $199 for a manor queen room to $359 for a deluxe king room. With Estes Park being more of a summer destination, rates for the winter months are slightly less with a manor queen priced at $144 and a deluxe king at $299.
