The six-story Stowe Mountain Lodge offers 312 rooms. Located at the base of Mount Mansfield within Stowe Mountain Resort, the interior of the lodge features natural Vermont wood and stones along with contemporary folk-art pieces. Each room is bathed in warm tones and floor-to-ceiling windows. Most guestrooms also include a stone-framed fireplaces, private balconies, and kitchenette with stove-tops, microwaves and dishwashers. Amenities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, twice-daily housekeeping, wireless high-speed Internet access, overnight valet parking and airport transfer services. The Trapp Family Lodge has many options for your stay, including the 96-room Alpine Lodge, guest house chalets and villas offering up to three bedrooms per unit. This 2,400 acre mountain resort was designed and decorated with Austrian touches throughout. Amenities include a fitness center with a heated indoor pool, sauna, yoga and exercise classes and massage facilities as well as a rock climbing wall and Mountain Kids Club activities for the little ones. Located less than one mile from the base of Lincoln Peak, Sugar Bush Inn is a quaint, country-lodging choice. The Inn features rooms with private baths and cable TV and includes a complimentary breakfast. Access to the Health & Racket Club, which offers use of the indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna is also included with every stay. Shuttle service from Sugarbush Inn to the Peak is available during the winter months. As of January 2011, nightly rates start at $85.
Tram Haus Lodge is the newest accommodations on the Jay Peak Resort. Located in Northern Vermont a few miles from the Canadian border, Jay Peak Mountain offers eight lifts serving two mountains and averages 379 inches of natural snowfall each winter. The Tram Haus Lodge is steps away from the tram and includes 57 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites. The suites offer either mountain or valley views, fireplaces, kitchens and flat-panel televisions. Tram Haus Lodge offers several dining options: the Aroma cafe for sandwiches and coffee; the Tower Bar, featuring small plates, wine and beer; and a restaurant called Alice's Table, which serves local fare.
