Pick your travel dates. Winters are cold in Colorado. If you aren't a fan of snow, then a late spring or summer visit will be more comfortable. Spring and summer activities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, gold panning and rafting. Skiing is available during the winter.

Cripple Creek Hospitality House, located in the former Teller County Hospital building, was originally built in 1901 during the gold rush. The property was purchased and restored in 1963. A wide selection of cabins and vacation homes suitable for singles and families are available too.
