Relax with your loved on at the Country Cabins in Maggie Valley, four hours east of Raleigh. Honeymooners can stay in the "Little Cabin," formerly known as the "Honeymoon Cabin," which is a 160 year old log home that has been remodeled and now features skylights, a separate bedroom and a two-person hot tub. Guests can cuddle in front of the fireplace, relax under the shade of the covered front porch or prepare meals in the kitchenette. Country Cabins also offers four other cabins that can sleep two to six people and include cable television and a fireplace. Pets are welcome to join you, but guests must pay a fee and a pet deposit.
The cabins are open year-round and are near the Cherokee Indian Reservation, the tourist attractions of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and the boutiques and restaurants of Asheville, North Carolina. The town of Maggie Valley is home to the Country Cabins and the Carolina Nights dinner theater, Diamond K Dance Ranch and Maggie Valley Opry House.

Celebrate your nuptials at the Mountain Brook Cottages in Sylva, a half hour south of Maggie Valley. Unwind in the "Romancer Cottages and Cabins" and enjoy the king bed, fully stocked kitchen, jacuzzi tub, fireplace in the spacious living space. Couples can even request the "Celebration Amenity" and, for an additional fee, champagne, chocolates and flowers will be waiting for you in the cabin. One and two-bedroom cottages with front porches complete with swings, fully stocked kitchens and living rooms complete with fireplaces are also available. The cabins don't have telephones or televisions. Pets are not allowed.
Guests can fish in the on-site trout pond, walk the nature trail or play in the game room. Nearby attractions include white-water rafting down the Nantahala river, taking a ride on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and exploring the Mountain Heritage Center, a museum dedicated to the history of southern Appalachia, at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee.

Enjoy the view of the Little Tennessee River from the front porch of the "Glory Days" cabin which also offers a full kitchen, satellite television with DVD and VCR, roomy dining and living area, and loft bedroom with a queen-size bed. Guests can also choose other cabins and cottages with the same amenities. Pets are not allowed.
Nearby attractions include tubing and swimming in Little Tennessee River, the waterfalls and hiking trails of the Nantahala National Forest or Franklin's gem mines.
