The Rock Creek Cabins Resort in Bryson City is in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains; it's within 10 minutes of boating opportunities at Fontana Lake and the Nantahala River. The resort's 15 cabins are secluded from each other; each cabin includes a fully furnished kitchen, a living room, a fireplace, an outdoor deck, a barbecue grill, a bathroom and a dining area. Situated on the Atlantic Coast, the Wright Cottage Court in Kill Devil Hills is a year-round Outer Bank resort that features cottages with two to six bedrooms.
