Cedar Creek Cabins in North Carolina

Cedar Creek, located in the western North Carolina mountains, features several types of rental cabins. The cabins are located close to area attractions such as the Biltmore House, Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock Natural Waterslide, downtown Asheville, downtown Weaverville and the North Carolina Arboretum trails.   1. About Cedar Creek Cabins

    • Cedar Creek has three separate cabins, each handicap accessible with minimal steps. Each cabin features a fully-equipped kitchen, linens and towels, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, television, DVD player, Wi-Fi, designated area for bonfires, rocking chairs, swing, picnic table and a washer and dryer. Cedar Creek is dog-friendly. A maximum of two dogs over the age of six months are permitted. Dogs are prohibited from being on any furniture and must be crated if left unattended.

    Acorn Cabin

    • Relax to the sounds of the nearby creek on the front porch hammock of the Acorn Cabin. The smallest of the cabins, Acorn Cabin has an open layout, country-inspired décor in a total of 1,500 square feet. The cabin can accommodate between four and six people, making it ideal for smaller groups or families. These cabin features a downstairs bedrooms with two twin beds, a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen-sized bed in the loft area. The recreation room has a pool table. As of 2010, rates start at $150.

    Buckeye Cabin

    • Grill your dinner on the second floor porch of Buckeye Cabin, which overlooks the wooded surroundings. Buckeye Cabin is located next door to Acorn Cabin, making it ideal for large parties who have split into two cabins. Natural light streams into the multiple windows located on both floors and there is a pool table on the ground floor. The cabin sleeps between 10 and 12 people and is popular with wedding party guests, family reunions and larger groups. The cabin has four bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,350 square feet. As of 2010, rates start at $215.

    Chestnut Lodge

    • Chestnut Lodge is the largest cabin/lodge on the property. It can accommodate groups of 14 to 18 people with a total of six bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,800 square feet. Cozy up in front of one of the two fireplaces located downstairs or play ping pong on the downstairs level. The lodge features a family room with a television, VCR and DVD player. As of 2010, rates start at $225.
