Nestled between woods and a 150-year-old tobacco farm, the Lamplight Bed and Breakfast and Tobacco Farm Camp offer cabin rental at the Pirates Den. The Pirates Den opened in 2004 after renovation from a tobacco curing barn into a rental cabin. Named and decorated for East Carolina University, the Pirates Den features purple and gold themes, as well as pirate flags and other memorabilia. This cabin includes a front porch, linens, flatware, dishes, drinking glasses, microwave, refrigerator, equipped coffee pot and toaster. The cabin also has a queen-size bed and sleeper sofa to accommodate four visitors comfortably.

Owned by the Tobacco Farm Camp rental company, Tarheel Retreat opened in April 2006 as a cabin themed in the blue and white colors of the University of North Carolina. Interior decorating includes both images and objects related to Carolina culture, traditions and history. Tarheel Retreat offers sleeping for as many as five people with a full-size bed, twin-size bed and a full-size futon. Cabin accommodations include a covered porch, kitchenette, bathroom, linens, flatware, drinking glasses and dishes.
