Cedar Crest is a small town in eastern Oklahoma with a population of almost 320. It's just 40 miles from Tulsa. Elephant Rock Nature Park can be found in the town of Tahlequah 28 miles from Cedar Crest. The park offers cabins nestled in 160 wooded acres with hiking trails and access to the Illinois River. Each unit features amenities such as air conditioning and heat, two full size beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, a fire ring and firewood, a barbecue grill, a picnic table and a hammock. The Indian Lodge is on the shores of Lake Fort Gibson in Wagoner, 30 miles outside Cedar Crest. The resort features 25 cabins of varying sizes.
