The cabins, which portray a Caribbean-style bungalow, offer guests many amenities amid a laid-back atmosphere. In addition to the close proximity of Lake Travis, the private cabins have access to a pool, two spas and seasonal live Saturday night music. The mini-resort also includes a nature trail. All cabins are equipped with a kitchen, covered deck and fireplace. Lost Parrot Cabins also provides guests throughout their stay complimentary wireless Internet, cable TV and in-house DVDs and games. Several of the cabins accommodate well-mannered dogs and cats. An additional pet fee ranging from $15 to $25 per night, will be added to your cabin rental charge.

Lake Travis Hideaway is about 40 minutes from Austin and attracts those interested in retreating to a peaceful and secluded area of Lake Travis. With an acre of waterfront property, and boat and swimming access, this pet-friendly lake cabin provides a great escape for nature lovers. Lake Travis Hideaway sleeps four to six guests in two bedrooms, and also has available a pull-out sofa bed and futon for additional visitors. In addition to fully equipped kitchen, guests of the lake house will also have access to a brick barbecue, an outdoor gas barbecue and two smokers. A two-night minimum stay is required. Before booking, pets need to meet approval standards depending on size, breed and behavior. If approved, a one-time, non-refundable $100 pet fee is included in rental charges. Additional costs include a cleaning fee of $85 per stay.
