Among the accommodations offered by this resort on the eastern entrance of Glacier National Park are historic cabins. Built in the late 1930s, the one-bedroom cabins also have sofa beds in the main room. Cabins have TV, kitchen facilities, and private decks. St. Mary's also features the Sun Cabin, a secluded two-story structure with kitchen, living room, bedroom and deck. The Guest House is a two bedroom cottage suitable for families. While at the resort, go on horseback riding pr ATV tours through Glacier National Park. Fish for trout or go fly fishing. Scenic bus and boat tours are available.

Just over two miles from St. Mary, the non-smoking Glacier Trailhead Cabins sit outside the eastern entrance to Glacier National Park. Open from mid-May to mid-October, cabins offer microwaves and refrigerators but no cooking facilities. However, a full kitchen may be accessed by guests in the on-site pavilion, which also has grills. Cabins include towels and linens, and all have modern bathrooms. Pets not permitted. In season, there are nearby restaurants and guests may shop for food in St. Mary.

According to its website, the view from Johnson's Cabins is "the most amazing you'll ever encounter." Cabins do not have TVs or telephones or any cooking facilities, but there is an on-site cafe. No alcohol is served or permitted on the premises. Travelers bringing their horses to ride in Glacier National Park can keep them on the property. There's also a campground for RVs and tents, with a camping cabin. This cabin has no bathroom, but is close to the showers and restrooms.
