In Montana, 18 KOA campgrounds offer camping cabin rentals. The KOA Kamping Kabins are located on the campground, and come with one and two bedrooms. One-room models are the most common, and can be found at all 18 Montana locations. They sleep up to four people. The two-room cabins are available at nine Montana KOA campgrounds. They accommodate up to six people, and offer roomier living space. Campers staying a KOA Kamping Kabin will want to bring sleeping bags or bed linens, towels and toiletries, because none of these things are provided. The KOA campground in Montana with the most cabin options is in St. Mary Glacier Park.

Meadow Mountain RV Park, Campground and Cabins attracts campers and tourists who are visiting Glacier National Park. The campground has four cabins for rent: Moose Lodge, Deer Lodge, Black Bear Lodge and Elk Lodge. Moose and Deer lodges sleep four people, and the former is recommended for two people as well. Black Bear and Elk lodges sleep six campers. Each cabin requires a two-night minimum stay. All cabins can be rented at a basic rate or a full service rate. The basic rate does not include bed linens and towels, and the full service rate provides these amenities. Pets are not allowed in the cabins. Because Meadow Mountain cabins are still a "camping" experience, no indoor cooking is permitted. Outside the cabins are water faucets, barbecue/campfire grills and picnic tables, but there is a refrigerator indoors.
