Indiana Camping Cabins

Known as the "Hoosier State," Indiana embodies the spirit of the American Midwest. Indiana features a variety of natural attractions, such as the Angel Mounds State Historic Site and Bluespring Caverns. From the northern lake region, through the central plains and to the southern lowlands, Indiana has a varied terrain ideal for a camping vacation. Several campgrounds throughout the state provide rental cabins for campers without a tent or RV.
  1. Twin Mills Camping Resort

    • Twin Mills Camping Resort is nestled on the edge of South Twin Lake in Howe, just over an hour north of Fort Wayne, in northeastern Indiana. Nestled on 150 private acres, the resort offers 12 rustic and deluxe cabins for rent. Rustic cabins can accommodate up to six people in one bedroom and feature electricity, a charcoal barbecue grill and a picnic table. Deluxe cabins can accommodate up to eight people in two rooms and feature a private bathroom, kitchenette and a charcoal barbecue grill. Pets are not allowed in any cabins. Resort amenities include bathrooms and shower-houses, a heated outdoor swimming pool, sandy swimming beach, three playgrounds, an 18-hole miniature golf course, game room, basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, fishing pond, picnic pavilions, convenience store, propane services, laundry facility, planned recreational activities, hiking trails and wireless Internet access. Guests can also rent canoes, paddle boats, bicycles and golf carts from the camp store. Twin Mills Camping Resort is open from April through October.

    Whitewater Memorial State Park

    • Whitewater Memorial State Park is located on the edge of the 200-acre Whitewater Lake in Liberty, about an hour and a half east of Indianapolis, in central Indiana. The park offers 20 family cabins for rent alongside Brookville Lake. Cabins can accommodate up to six people in two bedrooms and feature a private bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, air conditioning and a screened-in back porch. Some cabins feature a wood-burning stove. Pets are only allowed in designated cabins. Park amenities include a sandy swimming beach, boat ramps, fishing piers, three playgrounds, equestrian trails, hiking trails, picnic pavilions, a convenience store, fish cleaning station, nature preserve, observation deck, planned activities and a saddle-barn. Guests can also rent canoes, paddle boats and rowboats from the camp store. Whitewater Memorial State Park is open year-round.

    Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort

    • Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort is located next to the Holiday World theme park in Santa Claus, in Howe, about an hour east of Evansville in southern Indiana. Surrounded by woods, the resort offers 19 family cabins rent. Cabins can accommodate up to eight people in one bedroom and feature a living room, fully-equipped kitchen, private bathroom, air conditioning, deck with charcoal barbecue grill, a picnic table and fire ring. Pets are not allowed in cabins. Resort amenities include bathrooms and shower-houses, two heated outdoor swimming pools, two playgrounds, a miniature golf course, game room, basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, fishing lake, picnic pavilions, convenience store, snack bar, complimentary theme park shuttle, propane services, laundry facility, organized activities, hiking trails and wireless Internet access. Guests can also rent golf carts, paddle boats, kayaks and rowboats from the camp store. Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort is open from April through October.
