    • The Little Winnie Resort in Deer River is a 25-minute drive from Lake Winnibigoshish and features amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool, a playground for children, a central lodge for gatherings and hiking trails throughout the resort's 83 acres. During the winter season, the resort's trails can be used for snowmobile riding and cross-country skiing. The resort is also less than 10 minutes from fishing sites at Big Cutfoot Sioux Lake.
