    The Charles Hotel

    • The Charles Hotel, located in Harvard Square in Cambridge, features a Shaker theme with wainscoting and geometric quilts on the beds. The Charles is undeniably luxurious.     Blantyre

    • Blantyre is a Tudor-style hotel located in Lenox. Blantyre was originally part of the Highlawn estate, owned by Robert Paterson in the 1890s. The main house was demolished by Paterson, but the Carriage House, potting shed and stables were preserved. The entire home, which is now Blantyre's main house, was modeled after Paterson's mother's home in Scotland and is filled with luxurious fabrics, leaded glass windows, heirlooms, period pieces and artwork. The main house has eight guest rooms, the carriage house has 10 guest rooms, each of which is named for estates and country houses in the Berkshires. Additional amenities include on-site hiking trails, tennis, championship croquet courts, a heated outdoor pool and a "Warming Hut," complete with wide screen televisions, comfortable chairs and a pool table. Rates begin at $550 per night.
