Winding River Resort is located in the river's namesake of Colorado on its north fork. The resort also borders Rocky Mountain National Park and Arapaho National Forest. Cabins, lodge rooms, RV and tent sites are offered for accommodations. Lodge rooms have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Seven cabins are available, which sleep anywhere from four to eight people. All cabins come with full kitchens. Planned activities are offered including horseback riding, pony rides, chuckwagon breakfasts and dinners, cowboy church, and hayrides.
