Northeast of San Antonio, Texas, on the east shore of Canyon Lake is a small park known as Jacob's Creek Park. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages this park and seven other parks at Canyon Lake. The area is a popular camping and recreational playground. Canyon Lake Cabins and Cottages offers cabins and two different kinds of cottages. Riverside Resort is a countryside resort located between Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River. The resort offers cabins, RV sites with full hookups and tent sites. The cabins are all non-smoking and have air conditioning, microwave, refrigerator, kitchen, stove, linens, towels and coffeemaker. Furnishings do not include utensils, and the resort does not permit pets in the cabins. The resort also offers parking for boats, barbecue pits, swimming pool, bath houses, volleyball court and horseshoe area. It is near Canyon Lake Golf Club, Sea World and the Canyon Lake Marina, where boats can be rented. Activities in this area include horseback riding and water skiing.
