Home on the Range is the only RV park in Madisonville. It's located five miles from the town in a 30-acre wooded setting. All sites have full hook-ups with 20/30/50 amp service and include free Internet access. The park also has a restaurant on the premises.
Huntsville, a short drive southeast of Madisonville on I-45, offers more options for RV campers. Highway 19, which intersects with I-45 at Huntsville, is home to several RV campgrounds, including Harmon Creek RV Park & Marina, which has 15 full hook-up RV sites.
Madisonville is on the Texas Brazos Trail which crosses through 18 counties in Texas. The city also has a golf course and the 75-acre Lake Madison. Huntsville is best known as the home of Sam Houston who was the first president of the Republic of Texas.
