RV camping resorts are located 26 miles from downtown Victoria, British Columbia. Pedder Bay Resort and Marina is located on southern Vancouver Island, and Weir's Beach RV resort is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
Pedder Bay is located 43 minutes from downtown Victoria; Weir's Beach is a 33-minute drive from downtown. Both resorts are surrounded by natural wilderness and waterfront views.
Guests can book RV camping sites between March and October at Pedder Bay Resort or year-round at Weir's Beach RV Resort. You can check site availability online or contact either resort directly. Daily, weekly and monthly rentals are available.
Resort amenities at Pedder's Bay include 78 fully serviced camping and RV sites, a boat-launch ramp, both 30- and 50-amp power service, cable TV and Wi-Fi Internet services, laundry facilities, oceanfront and pull-through RV sites, an on-site store and washrooms with private showers.
Weir's Beach provides 60 fully serviced RV sites, an oceanfront clubhouse with pool tables, books, puzzles and games, a community freezer and refrigerator and one- or two-bedroom rental units for guests.
You can enjoy an on-site Coffee House and store at Pedder's Bay or the clubhouse at Weir's Beach. Boat and fishing gear rentals also are available; staff will coordinate fishing trips for parties of 10 to 100.
You also can go whale watching and wildlife sightseeing tours. You can walk, run or cycle along the Galloping Goose Trail. The trail is a conversion of a former rail bed. It is named after the passenger car that used to travel along the 40-mile-long stretch of wilderness, urban and rural landscape stretching from the northern to western tip of the island.
All Fun Recreation Park is located 15 minutes from downtown Victoria in Langford, British Columbia. The park offers 95 RV and camping sites and standard amenities such as laundromat services, firewood and electrical hookups. The park operates year-round.
Additional features include go-karts, mini golf, batting cages, a family fun zone activity area and a speedway located next to the park.
While in Victoria, visit the the inner harbor and surrounding attractions, located in downtown Victoria. Visit the birthplace and historic childhood home of Emily Carr, a famous Canadian artist and author.
Carr's house is located in 1.2 miles from downtown Victoria in James Bay and features a gallery of the artist's works in addition to works by local artists.
