Garner State Park is the most popular state park in Texas for overnight camping, largely due to its rustic waterfront setting that covers over 10 acres. Swimming, tubing, fishing and canoeing are popular along the river, as is hiking, mountain climbing and miniature golfing. There are a number of RV campsites at Garner State Park, each with full water, electric and sewage hookups. Sites with cable hookups can be rented for an additional cost.

Parkview Riverside RV Park has 93 pull-through RV campsites for nightly and extended rental throughout the year. Each site has full 50-amp electric hookups, as well as water, cable TV and sewage. Other campsite features include a convenience store, a club house and activity center, as well as a laundry room. The park has several small trails for hiking and biking, as well as a small lake for fishing and swimming. Free wireless Internet is available for all guests, as well clean restrooms and showers.

Andy's on River Road is a large camping complex that caters to families, groups, and event camping along the river and in Frio Canyon. In addition to RV sites, there are also cabins, suites and tent camping available. Andy's has extensive recreational activities including tubing and kayak rentals, volleyball and fishing. There is also a shuttle service for campers who do not want to walk to the river, which is nearly a mile away.

The BECS Store & RV park is one of the newest RV parks in Concan and has over 50 campsites available for RVs. All sites have full hookups and wireless Internet access, and there is a large convenience and grocery store at the front of the park. There is also a coin-operated laundry room, family park and playground. BECS caters to families, often has family-themed weekends and events, and welcomes pets of many varieties.

Nana's RV Park is an RV park located on the site of a historic log cabin from the early 1800s. The park has 40 RV sites with full water, electric, waste and cable hookups, as well as a picnic table, fire pit and barbecue pit at each site, with firewood sold in the campground store. There are also clean restrooms, showers and a laundry room in camp headquarters. For recreation, there are paddle boat rentals and swimming and fishing on the river. Nana's is also a short driving distance from horseback riding and hayrides.
