Situated in nearby Inyokern, El Solana RV & Mobile Home Park is less than 11 miles from Ridgecrest. The campground consists of 30 recreational vehicle sites, 10 of which are available for overnight guests rather than long-term tenants. All of the spaces feature a specialized design allowing campers to pull their vehicles into the spots rather than having to back into the spaces. Each site has full electric, water and sewage hookups. The campground provides restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. An indoor gameroom, horseshoe pits and trails for off-roading are located on the property for recreation. Dogs are welcome, provided they are not aggressive.

Bertrand RV & Mobile Home Park is located west of downtown Ridgecrest. The campground has 58 sites for recreational camping with 10 reserved for short-term, overnight stays. These short-term sites are on gravel and have full patios. All of the short-term spaces only accommodate back-in parking and measure 20 feet by 40 feet in size. Full water, electric and sewage connections are available at each spot as well as cable television connections. Wireless Internet is available throughout the park for an added fee. The campground does not provide restrooms, showers or on-site recreational activities. A sewage waste dump, public telephone, ice machines and a laundry facility are located on the property. Pets are welcome.
